What we collect and how we handle it

On this page, RadarAtlas (I, our, my, we, our Extensions) will lay out how data is handled and used when the User (you) interacts with any RadarAtlas Extension. Your data is yours. We do not store, collect, or farm any data that you enter in any Extension. We do not sell anything to anyone. It is important to note that we are not affiliated with any ADSB mapping websites such as ADSBExchange.com or ADSB.fi. Please see the Disclaimer page for more information.
Access & Installation
By installing one of our Extensions, you are allowing a RadarAtlas Extension to be added to your Chrome browser with the purpose of manipulating the user interface on ADSBexchange.com, ADSB.fi, ADSB.lol, airplanes.live, theairtraffic.
Location
We do not store any location data from any user.
User activity
Depending on what button you click on or text field you use in the Extension, UI elements and database data may appear or change.
Data Sources
We offer aircraft ownership data in the RadarAtlas extension. The data source is originated from OpenSky - an open source database. RadarAtlas is in no way affiliated with OpenSky. We make no obligation or promise our extension is displaying the latest data available. We reserve the right to use an older version of the database. We reserve the right to display a modified version of that underlying database if we believe we have ownership information not included in the OpenSky database.
Financial and payment information
Our extensions are free of charge for all features. There are currently no donation or paid options available.
Web Analytics Data
We use Google Analytics in the Google Chrome Webstore to idenfity install rate, uninstall rate, installs by country, and other metrics. Also, we utilize Google Analytics in the associated RadarAtlas.com blog.
Local Storage and Saving Favorites
Our extensions make use of storing and retieving data from Chrome's Local Storage. We do not store any data from any user. If your browser is reset or cleared, this data will be lost and is unrecoverable.
Personal communications & Personally identifiable information
When you write in to us with a question or to report a bug, we keep that correspondence, including the email address, so that we have a history of past correspondences to reference if you reach out in the future. If you choose to follow us, we will have visibility into your Twitter account and we reserve the right to follow or not follow you back.
Information we do not collect
We don’t collect any characteristics of protected classifications including age, race, gender, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, or physical and mental abilities or disabilities. You may provide these data voluntarily, such as if you include a pronoun preference in your email signature when writing us for support issues.

Updates made to adsbexchange.com or adsb.fi may break the RadarAtlas extension without warning. As such, our extensions are provided without any warranty.

The underlying data provided by various ADSB sites is different from the data provided by this extension. The underlying data in our RadarAtlas Chrome Extensions is updated frequently and the developer(s) make no warranties expressed or implied.
